What’s covered
- Collisions, whoever was at fault
- Theft of the car and break-in damage
- Fire, flood, hail, and falling branches
- Cracked and chipped windshields
- Injuries to you, your passengers, and the other party
- A hire car while yours is being repaired
- Roadside assistance and towing
What’s not
- Mechanical failure and servicing — that's a warranty
- Wear on tires, brakes, and the clutch
- Personal belongings stolen from the car (renters or home covers those)
- Driving for a rideshare or delivery platform without telling us
- Racing, track days, and off-road use
- Damage while an unlisted driver is behind the wheel
What a real claim looks like
Someone reverses into your door in a supermarket car park and stops to swap details.
2:12 pm
You photograph it
Four photos, guided by the app, plus the other driver's details scanned from their license.
2:15 pm
Fault assessed
The AI reads the damage geometry and the accounts, and tells you where fault is likely to land.
2:18 pm
Repair booked
A shop near you, on our approved list, with a slot this week and a hire car reserved.
Day of repair
You pay nothing
We settle directly with the shop. If the other insurer accepts fault, your deductible comes back.
An illustrative walkthrough written for this build. Timings are not a service guarantee, and complex claims still go to a person.
Car questions, answered
How does mileage-based pricing work?
You tell us roughly how far you drive a year and we price accordingly, then check it against your odometer at renewal. Drive less than you estimated and you get money back rather than a stern letter.
What happens if the other driver has no insurance?
Your uninsured motorist coverage takes over and pays as though they'd been insured. This is the coverage people quietly drop to save eight dollars a month and then desperately need.
Is my stuff in the car covered?
Not by the car policy — a laptop stolen from the back seat is a renters or homeowners claim. That's not us passing the buck; it's how the coverages are drawn everywhere, and it's why bundling both actually matters.
Can I drive for a delivery app?
Only if you tell us. Commercial use changes the risk substantially, and an undisclosed rideshare shift is one of the few things that will get a claim denied outright. Declare it and we'll price it.
What's the planet part about?
We offset the carbon from the miles you insure with us, funded out of our flat fee rather than added to your premium. Low-mileage drivers pay less and offset less, which is the point.

Add a second policy and your total goes down
Bundling is the one discount in insurance that isn’t a gimmick — fewer policies to administer costs us less, so it costs you less.
